A Reminder From Reese Witherspoon: Sometimes it’s What You Know; Not Who You Blow

Los Angeles – Actress Reese Witherspoon was honored at the 2011 MTV (Twilight Vampire Sagas) Movie Awards last night for her enduring (not ending up in rehab, or porn) success and sent a message to her female fans and colleagues during her acceptance speech.

She told the captive audience who were waiting for Justin (Timberlake or Bieber – your choice) to appear, “I get it, girls, that it’s cool to be a bad girl.  But it is possible to make it in Hollywood without doing a reality show. When I came up in this business, if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it under your bed.”

She also made a comment about how if you are so hard-up you have to post nude cellphone pictures of yourself on line (Blake Lively), at least hide your face and let fans identify you solely by your tattoos, preferably by using your tramp stamp if you've got one.  Or something like that.

We can only hope that Academy Award winner Reese’s positive message will slow the seemingly infinite progression of reality-star-fame-whore skanks invading Hollywood as of late.  But sadly, it’s still very likely that there will be many idealistic, yet lazy and untalented (but sort of hot) young girls who will convince themselves that the only reason Reese didn’t start her career with a sex tape was because she grew up in what they believe was the backwoods of the deep South and she couldn’t find a possum with big enough paws to hold the camcorder.
