Bearded Lady Mulls Presidential Run

Pine Bark, MO – As the more centrist Republicans are becoming increasingly nervous about the field of extremist presidential candidates, at least one American doesn’t have a problem with the 2012 election cycle turning into a sideshow.

Eleanor Abigail Hamilton, also known as “The Bearded Lady,” is now considering jumping into the race for the GOP nomination. Speaking exclusively to Unsolicited Drivel, she offered, “I really don’t see why I shouldn’t run, as this race is totally remindin' me of the carnival circuit of my youth. They already got that Wild West shooter guy, the corn-dog swallowin’ lady, and if Chris Christie gets into the race they’ll have the ‘world’s fattest’ attraction too. And every single one of ‘em has two faces!  But I’d be the only one with a beard and I kinda look like Abe Lincoln so that would distinguish me. It’s hard enough to tell the rest of them politicians apart as it is with all o’ their shouting out the same pie-in-the-sky solutions to America’s problems.  That don't make 'em Republicans...it makes 'em Republican'ts!”
