Just Go With It

Snuggling with Sandler = Some of Aniston's best acting.
Adam Sandler's new movie, "Excuse to Get Out of the House on a Saturday Afternoon," is pretty much what you expect. Sandler plays an unmarried plastic surgeon who acts like Adam Sandler, using a wedding ring accompanied with a sob story about a bad marriage as a way to seduce women. You like him already, don't you - oh sorry, I forgot you are not an adolescent male - anyway, he picks up this hot blonde girl that he actually likes, so he hides the ring, but she finds it and thinks he has hidden an actual marriage from her. So he tells another lie to her that I really don't want to bother to repeat here, but suffice it to say the lie begets more lies and involves more scheming as he gets caught up in an ever more complicated situation involving Jennifer Aniston as his office assistant Notrachel, a guy who looks like Jason Sudeikis but isn't (Nick Swardson), one of Tom Cruise's Ex-wives (Nicole Kidman), and some cute hammy kids (Bailee Madison/Griffin Gluck).

Ok, you know where this is going, right? You really didn't even need to read that did you? C'mon! Sandler fans are going to go to every movie he makes regardless of what critics say (his role as Adolf Hitler in the remake of "Winds of War" was the highest rated war movie in history). Likewise, Sandler nonfans could not be dragged to any of his movies and would only watch one if forcibly strapped to a chair in a straightjacket and having their eyes held open by little wires like that guy Alex in "A Clockwork Orange," right? …unless there's nothing else to do on a Saturday afternoon. Also starring newcomer Another Hotblonde (Brooklyn Decker) as the Hot Blonde Girl.
