NOW We Can Really Celebrate the Miner Miracle!

Everybody woke up feeling happy today around the world with the knowledge that the Chilean miners were being rescued one by one after 68 days underground, but it wasn’t until celebrities took to Twitter that we could REALLY celebrate! It’s true.  While the entire story of human faith and strength was very touching by itself, it couldn’t be totally awesome until the likes of Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber weighed in on their Twitter pages:

Kim Kardashian: "Wow seriously in tears watching the Chilean miners getting released on CNN! What a tough struggle they made it through!!!"



Justin Bieber: "Just found out the miners of Chile are being rescued!!! Happy for the families being brought back together. Miracles do happen."

We caught up with one dude who was watching the miners being rescued on a plasma wide-screen at the Best Buy for comment about the celebrity tweets and he told us, “I was pretty stoked just watching it on AC 360 last night, but it’s even cooler this morning to find out that people who are famous just for being famous are acting as excited about it as me.   Thank goodness for our culture of over-sharing.  Seriously. I was going to walk to work with a spring in my step today, but now that I know what Kim Kardashian thinks about the miner miracle, I may very well skip instead. At least until I get distracted by fantasies of punt-kicking Justin Bieber.”
