Winter Olympics to Become Interesting Again?

Vancouver – Down jackets, knit caps, and slim ski leggings designed by Ralph Lauren…yeeeeeeeee-awn!  Not since a certain currently unmentionable incident to a knee in women’s figure skating in the early 90s have the Winter Olympics seemed this potentially interesting.  No, we’re not referring to curling…unless you are thinking of curling men’s figure skating teammate Johnny Weir’s hair!  He’s posed for photo ops in fox pelts and we’d even consider letting him pose in our cat’s pelt (the one who keeps running away… Kidding!?!) just to see him get under people’s skin.   He offends nearly everyone and responds to their offended sensibilities with snooty, half-hearted public apologies.  He reports via his Twitter page that his costume designers have begun to receive hate faxes. We took the trouble to design this outfit for him (pictured) that we feel is fit for a future award-winning Olympian.*   We think his muse Lady Gaga would approve. Is Johnny the best thing to happen to ice since vodka mixed with “Emergen-C?”  We’ll let you know!

*And no, Romano was not harmed in this costume design.
