Turns Out “Miranda” Wasn’t the Smart One After All
New York – Sex and the City actress Cynthia Nixon has upset the LGBT community with recent comments about her making a decision to pursue a gay lifestyle with partner Christine Marinoni as if biology is not involved. She told the New York Times, “Why can’t it be a choice? Why is that any less legitimate? It seems we’re just ceding this point to bigots who are demanding it, and I don’t think that they should define the terms of the debate.”
Unsolicited Drivel checked in with a local bigot for an opinion on the controversy who told us, “It is a choice and that sure as hell explains why her character couldn’t get along with any of them men folk on that HBO show. Art imitain’ life and all. And I still can’t garner why they mostly talked about their hoo-has all day yet never had the clap. Or why the only hot one had no self-esteem and had to tramp around all the time, or why the preppie princess one ever bothered to leave the country club up in suburbia? Or even more confusin' - why an entire show would be built around an incredibly self-centered, vapid imitation of a female who would just as soon French kiss the soles of her $400 dollar shoes than ask her boyfriends any meaningful questions about themselves so they ain’t so likely to dump her soon as they banged her without never having to buy her no dinner? You can't explain that."

GOP Confirms it Could Welcome Patti Stanger on VP Ticket
“Millionaire Matchmaker” Patti Stanger has come under fire over remarks she made on a talk show about her stereotypical belief that gay men are not monogamous and now viewers of her Bravo show are calling for her ouster. However, if Patti does leave the network, we're told it wouldn’t take her much networking at all to be welcomed into the hierarchy Republican party – possibly even on VP ticket!
A staffer at the RNC headquarters told Unsolicited Drivel, “It became clear to the party after Michele Bachmann’s polling numbers dropped so sharply once Rick Perry entered the race, that the country still isn’t quite ready to elect a woman president outright. But they have been receptive to a female VP in the past. We’d never run Sarah Palin again as she seems more interested in being a celebrity than a lawmaker and Bachmann’s a little too far out there for most folks. Bachmann's gotten so far right she could fall off the earth she believes is flat. But that reality TV star Patti Stanger would definitely work on our ticket, as she worships the almighty dollar and seems to have the perfect blend of self-confidence and intolerance. And the woman must have brass ones too! I mean anybody who styles herself to look like a drag queen and then feels free to criticize gay men – that takes some serious balls!”

Rick Santorum Pledges to Reverse America’s Progress on Gay Rights
Orlando, FL – While the audiences at the Republican debates seem to be stealing each candidate’s thunder and auditioning for their own reality show (Who Wants to Be an Intolerant Rat-Bastard?), that still didn’t keep GOP presidential hopeful Rick Santorum from seeming like even more of a hater by pledging to reverse the progress of gays in the military.
A gay soldier directed a question to Santorum, asking if he would reinstate “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” if he became president. Santorum answered, “I came here tonight with the intention of beating on Rick Perry for not building a fence to keep the Mexicans out who keep stealing our jobs. Jobs. Jobs. Jobs. But if you insist on bringing it up, I do not think we should inject social (socialist) policy into the military. Soldiers are there to kill people who don't like our freedom. Plain and simple. Sex should not be an issue. There should be no sex in the military. Why do you think those doll makers didn’t give G.I. Joe any genitals? I would definitely bring back the policy of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and gay soldiers would just have to go back to their previous way of dealing with sexual frustration – by filming themselves lip-synching to Lady Gaga dance club favorites in their underwear.”
