General Stanley McChrystal gave an unflattering interview to “Rolling Stone” magazine criticizing Obama’s handling of the war on terror and also made flippant remarks about Vice President Joe Biden. Something to do with his bite instead of his bark. He also said Afghan President Hamid Karzai was “out of his element,” but he didn’t level any criticism towards Karzai for wanting to give our elements (Like lithium. Technically. Hey, we ran the Taliban out for a month or two!) to Japan.
Normally, McChrystal has been allowed to teleconference in to these meetings. Congressman Joe Barton was quick to apologize to the General for him having to make the trip to DC, as it is an inconvenience in the first proportion.
