Hefner Engagement Details Revealed

Los Angeles - Christmas Eve could be considered one of the most romantic times to present an engagement ring, but it wasn’t when Hugh Hefner proposed to Crystal Harris – it was how he did it.

Crystal has told our favorite tabloid publication, WTF Weekly, “We were up in the bedroom and once I moved Hef’s walker out of the way, we snuggled up in bed.  My favorite serious film is The Little Mermaid, so he wrapped the jewelry box in Little Mermaid wrapping paper that matched the custom-made sheets I have on my round bed in my own room. That funny crab, Sebastian, helps me to remember to check myself regularly for crabs.  That’s important for a Playmate.  Anyway, Hef didn’t get down on one knee as he said there was the fear that his kneecap would disintegrate into dust, but it was very romantic nonetheless.  He also got me a music box with The Little Mermaid theme.  I have to be really careful though, because if I wind it too tight the music comes out sounding much more like the wailing sobs of Holly Madison than a Disney movie theme.”
