Murdochs to Take a Break From Ruining Lives

London – Speaking on behalf of his evil media overlord father, Rupert, James Murdoch announced today via Sky News that the malicious family was going to take a break from ruining lives in Great Britain temporarily as they are ceasing publication of their News of the World amid scandal.

Two staffers of the 168-year old tabloid have already been sent to prison over their phone hacking scandal and public outrage reached a fever pitch this week when it was revealed that the media maggots interfered with a police investigation and as a result, gave false hope to a family of a missing murdered child.

A former employee of the news organization told Unsolicited Drivel, “The decision was not made out of good conscious or respect for the dead, but really because of a pending advertiser boycott.  Who would have guessed that advertisers have morals?  Not us, that’s for sure!  To say that the Murdochs are crestfallen over the scandal would be an understatement.  I can only hope they can take comfort in the knowledge that they still have the opportunity to needlessly frighten the bejesus out of the gullible Americans via their Fox News just for kicks.”
