The Arden Theatre Company was fabulous. These folks are as good or even better than anything I've seen on Broadway and I have seen a great many shows in my lifetime. Arden is also very family oriented with many shows for kids and they offer education as well. If you enjoy theater and are anywhere near Philadelphia, Arden is the place to be. Terry Nolen, the artistic director, may be the only person who has made the second act of "Sunday in the Park With George" as great as the first. If you've seen the show, you know it is a challenge. Stephen Sondheim agreed himself and has praised Terry as the best interpreter of his work in theater today.
Yes, my pals know Stephen Sondheim. I am beyond thrilled.
