Holy Flapjacks, Batman!

IHOP, the famous breakfast restaurant, is suing IHOP, the decidedly unfamous church, which uses the same acronym, over copyright infringement.

First of all, the International House of Prayer is located in Kansas City, MO, so the chance that anyone from outside of Missouri, let alone from beyond the borders of the United States, is coming to this place to pray is no greater than the chance of running into a "Compassionate Conservative." So why don't they just change the name to HOP and be done with it?

Second of all, why don't they just hold church in the IHOP restaurant, thus saving churchgoers from having to go to breakfast at 11:30 am?

Third of all, it's one of those "end times" churches (you know, like the people who predicted the earth would blow up in the year 2012, or who see J-E-S-U-S spelled in their alphabet soup and start a shrine) and what better place to send them for a last meal than a place where the food literally could kill you?

No word yet on whether the church uses a Kangaroo for a mascot, or if they have also swiped the pancake giant’s “Come Hungry,  Leave Happy” slogan.
