“The Dilemma” Faces Another Dilemma

Even after Universal Pictures succumbed to pressure and removed the word “gay” from their trailer for the movie The Dilemma, it’s still not enough to keep LGBT rights groups from taking issue with the Vince Vaughn comedy, saying it promotes homophobia.

One angry gay man told Unsolicited Drivel, “When Vince Vaughn shows up on the red carpet, he better be prepared to walk through a protest.  And not just because the way he fills out a suit disgraces Armani.”

And now another group has contacted us about their discontent with The Dilemma.  A spokesperson for FABB (Foxes Against Banging Buffoons), told us that hot women are at their wits end from being depicted in television and film as if they would have sex with slovenly, crass guys.  She said, “The Dilemma has Jennifer Connelly and Winona Ryder married to Vince Vaughn and Kevin James!  The male characters in that movie shouldn’t be concerned about the ladies cheating with other men – they should be concerned about them cheating with each other!  I mean really?!? I thought when they finally canceled According to Jim, Hollywood had moved past this type of lunacy.”

One studio executive told us that while the gay joke controversy has been a bit of a nightmare for Universal and the foxy ladies have become even more vocal than the gays, it won’t matter as The Dilemma opens in January, so nobody’s going to see it anyway.
