Kathy Griffin Returns to Host New Years Eve Coverage With Anderson Cooper

New York – Fans of watching Anderson Cooper squirm while freezing his tight ass off on New Year’s Eve can breathe a sigh of relief – because CNN has invited back Kathy Griffin as his co-host for the fourth year in a row.

There has been much speculation from year to year if the comedienne will be invited back to Times Square, as her behavior seems to get more raucous and racy with each appearance.  Could it be that CNN is willing to chance another evening of dick jokes because they are no longer  “The Most Trusted Name in News?”

We spoke with one insider at the network who told us, “Kathy promised that none of the dick jokes would ever be directed at Anderson personally and we took her at her word - translation: we made her sign a waiver.  Besides, it’s kind of hard to criticize whatever comes out her controversial yap when the brain-trust in our control room accidentally broadcast what came out of Jeff Daniels’ 'Dumb and Dumber' ass.”
