Atheist Tells Warranty Provider to “Go to Hell” Over Act of God Clause

Baltimore, MD – An area atheist was admittedly pissed-off today when she had to resort to involving the image of holy Hell over a dispute with a repair dispatcher.

Brenda Hanson told Unsolicited Drivel, “I was planning on having an earthquake party after being stranded for 3 hours on the expressway on the way home yesterday and lo’ and behold my ice maker had stopped working.  I believe in irony and it just figures that after an afternoon that’s shitty beyond belief, I can’t have a frozen margarita.  The person in Mumbai or wherever from the appliance repair center tells me the fridge might not be covered if it was due to the earthquake because the quake was ‘an act of god.’  I told her I didn’t care if it was an act of Brahma, Vishnu or Shiva because she could go to holy Hell if I didn’t have a margarita in my hand with ice under the warranty by some time between 1pm and 5 today.  I hate it when I feel like I have to mess with people’s heads to get a point across by using images I don’t believe in.  It reminds me of when I used to work in advertising, which was enough to make me lose my faith in the first place.”
