IRS to Prince: Let’s Go Crazy!

Minneapolis, MN - He may not still be partying like it’s 1999, but is his Purple Majesty paying the IRS on projected earnings from 1999?  According to Carver County, Minnesota, Nicholas Cage is now in good company, as Prince’s Paisley Park Studios is delinquent for more than $227,000 for their 2009 taxes.  How did this happen? While Prince has been commercially viable in recent years, pals report that during the period when he was the artist formerly known as Prince, and he was insisting on being known as that symbolic thingy that looked like a blurry Greek letter from a fraternity house sign after one too many Kamikazes, things got a little lean – even though he was still there 4U – despite insisting on charging his fans $25 to enter his website - which didn’t work out 2 well.  So, he never really gained headway 4 the many lost receipts from during those years.  Prince’s people have refused 2 comment or respond 2 emails, but insiders suggest that very soon we can expect the teensy troubadour 2B auctioning off some of his prized items including a scratched up LP of “Purple Rain” sent 2 him by Tipper Gore, a well worn raspberry beret and even a little red Corvette.
