Gay Antigay Activist Okay With Living to Contradict Himself

Miami – Fierce antigay activist, George Rekers, doesn’t seem to have a problem with being a walking, preaching contradiction.

When he’s not trying to outlaw gay adoption in Florida, Rekers, a board member for the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality and a cofounder of the antigay Family Research Council, is totally okay with hiring gay male escorts to “tote his bags” all across Europe while he’s on vacation.

Rekers is currently embroiled in a scandal from contracting with the online site rentboy for daily nude body rubs in addition to his toting needs for his 10-day vacation, but some say a bigger scandal might be brewing.

NBC in Miami is reporting that the office of the Florida Attorney General paid Rekers at least $60,000 and maybe as close to $87,000, to testify as an “expert” witness defending the state’s ban on gay adoption.  Rekers claimed that gays make “inferior and even dangerous” parents.  So, is that why he just rents little boys instead of adopting them?  He has no confidence in his parenting skills?  Eeeww, no!  That would make him a child molester.  Still, where's the danger in gay adoption?  Dangerous as in gays will instill a taste for the finer things in life that the child can't afford to enjoy because we're in our country's worst recession?

The young male escort spoke at length this week about his sexual exploits with Rekers while in Europe.  “Lucien,” as he identified himself, told us, “I don’t understand why he publicly tries to go against his homosexuality when that Village People mustache is a dead giveaway for anybody who just looks at him.  I guess he’s another one of those self-hating gays, so I suppose at some point, he’ll be running for Congress in Florida on the Republican ticket.  Too bad they already filled Mark Foley’s seat.”
