The smoky spirit is intended to put some added swim into Blood Mary’s, but bartenders are likely to find many other uses as well. Hopefully. The salmon vodka will also enable those who choose to imbibe to get a valuable dose of the healthy Omega 3s, which will help them extend their lives so they can continue to go right on drinking to try and make other people more interesting.
One bartender told us, “I think they were probably drunk when they came up with the idea at the Wasilla distillery. I might be inclined to stick an oyster in a shot too, making the customer feel like they are getting a real meal. What will they come up with next? Chicken flavor? I could garnish martinis with McNuggets.”
