The Democratic National Committee has launched a website, the Accountability Project, where citizen watchdogs can upload gaffes of the GOP candidates long before the evening news catches on. The site is designed to look like a place for grass roots activists to inform voters and will be left up at least through the 2012 campaign season.
We asked one Democratic strategist about the project and he told us, “it’s not just the GOP’s racist comments we are interested in. At least the mainstream media will pick on those between reporting on celebrities and other piffle. I’m pretty sure everybody remembers hearing the word ‘rag-head’ during the South Carolina gubernatorial primary courtesy of the ignorant bonehead, Senator Jake Knotts recently. We appreciate those instances on video, but we are also looking for speeches where they provide total misinformation about the government and its power as far as voters’ rights are concerned. The beauty of this website is that most of the Republicans still haven’t figured out that as soon as they say something stupid or tell a bald-faced lie, it can be viewed by the entire world only moments later. They still haven’t really embraced the Internet. I suppose that’s because they believe Al Gore invented it.”

It's a great site, and high time too. The Republican party is the enemy of America, a poisonous serpent with its fangs in our neck. Exposing their lies to the light of day is the duty of all Americans. Thanks for the article
