Carey has admitted to accepting $1 million to give a private concert for Libyan leader/lunatic Moammar Gadhafi, and has realized she needs to donate the fee to charity (but not because Beyonce and Nelly Furtado did it first) to appease her fans.
After she gives birth to her twins, the singer plans to record a charity single, entitled “My Bad,” for her next album and donate the proceeds to a human rights organization.
Pals report the singer said, "I was naïve and unaware of just who I was booked to perform for. Hard to believe, I know. But it was very confusing as the contract was revised numerous times and every version that was faxed to my management for approval had the employer’s name spelled differently. I suppose I should have become suspicious on the private plane, as when we were landing they made me put a bag over my head before departing for the ride in the armored car to the gig.” Again, my bad, but being a diva doesn't come cheap people.”
