We watched the tape of The Rachel Maddow Show segment in question and at the end of the audio portion of Dean’s rant she clearly offered the preacher’s disclaimer from his website about not wanting to kill homosexuals himself (when Muslim extremists can do it for him). So that makes us think this lawsuit is entirely politically motivated. We asked our in-house political analyst for comment on the suit and he offered, "I find it more than a coincidence that on the same day the media broke news about a rash of LGBT teen suicides due to bullying in Minnesota Rep. and GOP Presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann’s home district, that a supporter of hers and the notion of ‘praying away the gay’ filed this lawsuit against Maddow.”
