Los Angeles - The Razzie Awards has made a plea to the media to get a message out to the now-reclusive actress, Sandra Bullock, to return her Worst Actress award they recently bestowed on her for worst performance by a female in the rom-com-bomb, “All About Steve.”
“It’s an unprecedented move, but we really feel we have to ask for it back,” stated awards co-founder, John Wilson. Hollywood was all abuzz about what appeared to be a double-diss toward the actress, by criticizing her performance in the film, and her current stellar performance - that of cloistered wronged wife (as opposed to front and center wronged wife, ripping Bombshell McGee’s head off and stuffing it down her neck before a live studio audience for a possible Emmy Award to add to her mantle).
But as it turns out, they just want the actual award back. In all of their excitement over receiving a wagon full of “All About Steve” DVDs from the generous actress that they could use to prop up their wobbly auditorium chairs for their future awards shows, they inadvertently gave Bullock the ACTUAL original Razzie award prototype. They regret the confusion and offered this explanation, “we’re sorry for the mix-up, but we really meant to give her a replica made in China and possibly covered with lead paint. She’s not suing for custody of those little kids, right? Anyhow, we really would like to have the original award back. Unless, of course, it’s covered with some biker’s brain.”
