Two break-ups in two days and Melissa Etheridge hasn't even claimed her next victim yet. Both Courtney Cox (minus the Arquette) and Christina Aguilera have announced they are splitting from their husbands. Cox, having been married a full 11 years is probably an anomaly by Hollywood standards, but still - is it just us, or do these people seem to have a throwing in the towel clause written into their pre-nups? So it would seem to this casual observer that the following are more likely to last much longer than the average show business marriage:
- Licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop
- Lifespan of the Drosophila melanogaster or common fruit fly
- Fizz in the first can of many Mountain Dews of the day
- Security check in any U.S. airport for an international flight
- Audit from the IRS
- Make-up session to prepare for most recent mug shot
