Madonna’s Gym Already a Bust?

Me-hi-co - Madonna may have thought it was a sweet idea to open a gym south of the border, but things have already gotten sticky for the pop star’s new enterprise. 

Madonna only just opened her Hard Candy Fitness in Mexico City this week and now sources are telling us permit officials are already trying to shut her down. They claim the Material Girl failed to obtain the necessary “land use” permit and must cease operation.

We spoke with a rep for Madonna’s rep about the controversy that told us, “It’s really sad. Madonna had just launched the Hard Candy Fitness Center on Monday by cutting a ribbon in a ceremony with her chiseled six-pack abs and teaching Mexican dance students how to move like they are constantly faking an orgasm.  I don’t know why she failed to obtain the necessary permits, but I’m guessing she probably figured if she developed a fake Mexican accent while she was there, they would welcome her with open arms like they did in London with her fake British accent.  Come to think of it, she wasn’t too popular across the pond.  Or, the failure to make it legal maybe could be because the Kabbalah teaches her not to sweat the small stuff, like obtaining permits.”
