Katie Holmes Reacts to Career Setbacks

Park City, UT – Full time wife and once promising actress, Katie Holmes, is not having a banner year so far with her movie career.  Her miniseries, “The Kennedys,” featuring her as a social climbing Jackie-O to Greg Kinnear’s sex-crazed-weasel JFK has been shelved, and now her film entry at Sundance, “Son of No One,” has appealed to basically no one.  Well, the projectionist at the theater did have a somewhat positive review adding, “I didn’t need a Trenti™ to get through it without falling asleep. It starred Al Pacino and he can be kind of loud.”

Her producer told Us Weekly, "She loves the film and she's great in it. She's very upset by this attack."

One of the fading starlet’s pals told Unsolicited Drivel, “I don't know how he could tell she was upset as I don’t think I’ve seen her face move since she married Tom.  Anyway, I’m sure the real issue is she’s not getting proper career advice.  Katie takes all of her fashion advice from Suri and the tot hasn’t steered her wrong yet.  Suri negotiated that Ann Taylor modeling gig for her.  So maybe she should just become mom’s official script reader, too!  I suppose if we start to see Katie doing voiceovers in animated features we’ll know that Suri has become her new agent.  And now that I think about it, animation might be a good route for Katie to go as we wouldn’t be able to see her seemingly permanent blank stare in the eyes of a 3D animated princess.”
