The Marriage Wreck?

Hollyweird - The list of celebrity judges on Jerry Seinfeld’s upcoming reality show, “The Marriage Ref” continues to both grow and confound.  The show debuts at the close of the Olympics on February 28th, and aside from Kelly Ripa, some of the other judges named so far include Alec Baldwin and Madonna.  WTF?  So, feuding couples are going take advice from the venomous voice-mailer/fake Ambien OD’er (allegedly), and (*gasp*) Madonna?!!!!!?  Macrobiotic food lovin’, TV hatin’, Kabbalah water swillin’,  rather tie her to a chair and bail than have to stay in the same room with her giving any more of her orders - Madonna?  These are people who know how to judge relationships and give advice?   Other stars reportedly included on hand to judge are: Ricky Gervais (while in a committed relationship, never married) Sarah Silverman (chubby chaser poster-child for on and off and on and off relationships until recently - maybe) and Larry David??? Where’s Liz Taylor?  Where’s Jennifer Lopez (c’mon that latest one’s a business arrangement)? Where’s Drew Barrymore or Renee Zellwegger, Lisa Marie P., or Britney for that matter?  Pamela and Kid Rock? WHERE IS CHARLIE FREAK-BOY SHEEN, Jerry???!!!!!!!!! Maybe Sean Penn can stop by our house with some twine, as lassoed to our Lane recliner may be the only way to get through yet another of the NBC brain trust’s answers to fill their entertainment void.  Please someone at NBC learn to read something other than body language at a pitch meeting so you can maybe comprehend an actual script by a writer with talent.  Reality TV has always been just an excuse for regular people to behave badly on camera.  It’s much more fun to do that in real life.  Let’s get busy and make it go away already.
