Possible AIDS Cure Leaves Intolerant Folks Mighty Confused

Scientists in Berlin, Germany are reporting that a man who received a stem cell transplant for leukemia has been cured of the AIDS virus,  leaving intolerant people very confused.

The doctors wrote, "It is reasonable to conclude that cure of HIV infection has been achieved in this patient.”

Similar clinical testing has also begun in San Francisco in the U.S.,  despite big pharma’s unwavering efforts to thwart stem cell research by lining political pockets through lobbyists.

Although many anti-viral treatments have been developed, bringing moderate success in controlling the virus, this is the first reported cure and some conservative Christians are scratching their heads at the news.

Unsolicited Drivel caught up with one bewildered, anonymous congregation member outside the Westboro Baptist Church.  He told us, “The Lord certainly does work in mysterious ways.  We were lead to believe the AIDS was a plague put on them homosexuals and now they’re saying there's gonna be a cure?  Well, that in itself is a miracle, and miracles are the best part of the Bible.  From a readin’ standpoint anyways.  But I can’t imagine lyin’ with a man ain’t longer a sin.  How are we supposed to punish them gays now?  I reckon maybe we could start by making ‘em buy all of their clothes at the Wal-Mart.”

The worst punishment would be to make them hang out with the idiots who think a disease is a lightning bolt sent by the Creator. He's smarter than that.
