Mayor Bloomberg Spotted Jazz-Handing Now that 9/11 Trial is Headed Elsewhere
New York – All of the concerns about what a 9/11™ terrorist trial starring Khalid Shaikh Mohmmed, "Live and Un-waxed," would mean to the New Yorkers themselves was over today. 77 Days after the Obama administration told the police commissioner to prepare for the trial coming to lower Manhattan, and ultimately, chaos, they reversed their decision leaving New Yorkers to absorb the news this Saturday along with the pelting snow. Some citizens were disappointed, as the trial could have been an opportunity to show their resilience. One New Yorker, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, facing a dizzying nightmare of the security needs and costs to send the city into a total lockdown and/or meltdown seemed more than relieved. Our photographers even caught him jazz-handing his way through Battery Park in lower Manhattan, using body language that is usually prohibited outside the theater district, but forgivable today nonetheless.
