J. Lo Worried About Being Paid Low

Jennifer Lopez has reportedly sunk into a funk over her career, pals claim.  The former pop chart topper, who is married to fellow singer Marc Anthony, recently got the boot from her record label, Sony Music Epic Records, after her comeback single about an $1,800 pair of shoes, failed to put some spring into the step of record sales.  The release of her latest movie project “The Back-up Plan,” has been pushed back too – typically a bad sign (See: “Gigli” & “Jersey Girl”).  The movie is a about a single woman in her late 30s who decides to have artificial insemination to conceive, and naturally, meets the man of her dreams right after the procedure.  How many times has that happened to you?!? We have no doubt she will bounce back, but can’t help but think that she never would have dropped off the celebrity radar if she had just stuck to her original formula for true career success:  Being an actress/singer/dancer/model/fashion designer/spokesperson/perfume name stealing/agent-suing tabloid cover-darling who seemed willing to walk down more church aisles as a bride than most people walk down aisles at the supermarket.  Out of sight (get it?) out of mind.  She might want to get those divorce papers drafted and fire her management before she ends up at an open casting call for P. Diddy’s next vodka commercial.
