The eruption of Iceland’s Mt. Unpronounceable (Eyjafjallajokull) volcano this week has stalled air travel throughout Europe, wreaking havoc on travelers. There’s no telling how long the disruption will continue, but one thing is for sure – that ash ain’t going nowhere. Not any time soon. We wondered if the people of Europe had any interesting ideas of what to do with it and here are some of them:
- Using it to rim glasses for newly invented “Magmatini” drink.
- Opening up an extremely overpriced day spa featuring “mineral” facials.
- Faking Ash Wednesday mass attendance for rest of natural life.
- Display it circulating through a glass-enclosed chamber at a pretentious festival and call it “art.”
- Toss into airline jet engine in an effort to discover the next “Sully.”
